Dear McMullen County,

Welcome to the McMullen County ISD website. As the superintendent of McMullen Public Schools, I appreciate the opportunity the Board of Trustees has provided to my family. I am excited and look forward to working with the students, staff, community, local government, businesses, community organizations, and taxpayers of McMullen County ISD.

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce my family and myself to the community. I’m a Mason native and received my Master of Education from what is now Texas State University, Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas Tech University, and Associate of Science degree from South Plains College. My principal certification is from Schreiner University and my superintendent certification is from Angelo State University.  I have served public schools as a Superintendent, High School Principal, Middle School Principal, Assistant Jr. High Principal, and Ag Science Teacher. My wife Kim is from Dallas and received her Master of Technology Degree from The University of North Texas and her Bachelor of Arts from Texas A&M. Kim has served public schools as a Technology Director, English teacher, journalism teacher, and technology teacher. Kim and I are blessed to have two daughters, O’Brien and Bronwyn.

I would like to invite you to stop by the school any time to visit with me to discuss the past, present, and future of McMullen County ISD. As the district’s superintendent I expect the best for our students and the community. As a district and community we must set and maintain high standards and expectations for all involved in the educational setting. It is my goal that the educational experience the students of McMullen County ISD receive will not only benefit them today, but in their future endeavors as productive citizens. Your continued support of the Cowboys and Cowgirls of our district would be greatly appreciated.

I look forward to building partnerships with all involved in the education of McMullen County students.
