McMullen County’s Brett Acker (left) and Pablo Esteban (right) receive their medals at the District 1A-32 tennis meet on March 28, where the Cowboys won the championship. Esteban won boys singles and Acker earned third place. Blaha and Troy Allen won the boys doubles first place prize. Dustin Allen and Erin Atkinson earned second place to qualify for regionals. McMullen County had two third place entries, including Rudy Mesa and Taylor Marriott in mixed doubles and Caroline McLaugherty in girls singles. The 1A Region IV regional tournament will be April 17 and 18 at Pflugerville High School.
