The McMullen County ISD Board of Trustees met last night and approved an adjustment to our school calendar that makes Friday, September 20, 2024, a school holiday.  This means there will be no school for students or teachers that day as many groups are preparing for the Tilden Rodeo.  Extracurricular activities on that day will still happen and only school is being canceled.  

MCISD will still have Friday, September 13, 2024, off as well.  A quick reminder to our parents that these Fridays off are meant to help with overall student attendance.  We ask that parents plan their doctor appointments and activities on these Fridays off as much as possible so that your child can be at school to learn.
