Spark Your Child's Creativity This Summer at Camp Invention!
Are you looking for a fun, hands-on summer adventure that will ignite your child’s creativity and boost their confidence? We are thrilled to announce that Camp Invention® is coming to our community for the first time!
Led by Mrs. Jones and Mrs. Mills, this top-rated STEM program is designed for curious kids in rising 1st through 6th grade. Campers will be grouped by grade to ensure an age-appropriate and engaging experience.
What a Typical Day Looks Like:
Our 2026 program features exciting challenges where your child will:
Explore Forensic Science: Build critical thinking skills while exploring the mechanics of an adorable take-home robotic capybara in Fur-ensics™.
Become a Community Superhero: Work with peers to invent creative solutions for real-world challenges in The Infringers™.
Dive into Entrepreneurship: Design a billboard boat and discover the science of buoyancy in Make Waves™.
Launch into Space: Build a DIY rocket, grow a crystal tree, and hatch an animal egg in Space Morphers™.
Program Details:
Location: McMullen County ISD, 901 River Street, Tilden, TX 78072
Dates: June 22 – 25, 2026
Time: 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Cost: $285, but $185 with our discount to the first 25 registrants. Because this is MCISD's first time hosting this program, the first 25 students to register will save $100!!

***Tilden Baptist Church will be hosting VBS on the same days (in the afternoon) and have offered to pick up any kids attending the STEM camp and will transport them to VBS!
